Turn Back Time.

How is it that I let you get away,

Never knowing I would be writing

This poem one day.

Now I’m sinking to rise no more.

Ever since you walked out on us.

If I could turn back time,

You would still be mine.

It’s funny how time flies by,

And the important things are gone.

Why should I suffer?

For one little mistake.

For every day I breathe,

I hope you will come back.

If I can turn back time.

I would never let you walk away.

Holding you as tight as I can.

But you showed enough love,

For the both of us to share.

But I took you for granted.

Now I walk alone for the rest of my life.
