My Year in Review 2019

I don’t have much to talk about since I don’t feel like I did much, but I guess this could be brief. First, I want to welcome any of my new followers that joined me on this journey back in October and November during my “I’ve Lost Everything” poem collection. I hope you’ll stay for as long as possible. If not, I guess that’s okay too. Second, thank you to those that stay supporting me even now.

Now on to my year.

Let’s see, well, I got my first fantasy short story published in an anthology called “First Love” which was made possible by Dragon Press Soul. You can find their website here and enjoy all that they have to offer. If you’re a fantasy writer yourself and want to try your hand at short stories, please consider collaborating with them. If you want to purchase “First Love” you can do so here.

Next would be my “I’ve Lost Everything” collection. The reason for me writing that collection is due to me having a mental breakdown in late September. I realized that not everything around is what it seems, and I had to accept that reality. I believed that writing these ‘poems would help get out of that state mind, and it did. Just only for a little bit, unfortunately. However, writing the collection has increased my like stats over the previous year, so, that’s a good thing.

Lastly, I finished my first novel “Exile” a day after Christmas which the last part wasn’t easy to finish. Due to an unforeseen situation. Right now, I got a few beta readers for the first draft, while I go through it myself. Adding, removing, and fixing things around. I hope to get it published by the end of next year, while I work on more projects. That will stay a secret until further notice.

To end this year off. It doesn’t look like much, but I guess it’s better than nothing. I plan to do more next year and I have decided to do one more “Finding My Voice,” before ending the series permanently. I have something else in mind and I hope to talk more about it next year. Until then thank you to all those that I met over the years and to those that I hope to meet along the way. Have a safe and Happy New Year and I’ll see everyone next year.
