Newsletter: Announcement & Updates
I hope all is well with everyone as we try our best to stay cool in the heat, and I know people have been looking forward to seeing some new things for me. However, things have changed since last month and I want to talk to you about them here. So, sit back, relax and let’s jump right in shall we.
The next project I’m working on has been on my mind for years, it was just that I didn’t know what I wanted to do with it at the time. At first, it was going to be a military Sci-fi story, but then I realized I barely know anything about that genre and I don’t have the patience to do so at this time (no disrespect to all those that love it). So, I decided to do it in a genre that I know and love, which is a crime thriller.
The project is called “THE WOLVES,” and it takes place in an alternate timeline where covid never happened. However, protests and civil unrest are happening all over the world and one super-power country after another is falling until it’s left in the hands of criminals and madmen.
This story will follow a handful of people who are trying to survive in this new world of cut-throats and opportunists around them. Will they survive for years to come or will the sins of one of the members finally catch up with them? You can find out more when I release it on Kindle Vella this fall available on the Amazon website and IOS devices.
For those that don’t know about Kindle Vella here’s a website giving you all the information that you need, and I think it’s a great way for many indie writers to build an audience while earning some coins on the side. Just know that this will not derail the earlier plans that I have for this blog. This brings me to my next topic of discussion.
I had planned on having an analysis about my favorite graphic novel out this month, but I had some trouble acquiring it from my local library. Now, that I have it I’ll be reading it this week and will begin my analysis as soon as I’m done and I hope to have it out to you before the end of next month.
As for my one-shot stories, I have one in mind that is called “Matthew” and I think it’s a story that is different than I’m used to telling and I would like to play with it a little bit. The goal here is to see what other stories I can write and show them to you, my audience. Just know that if a story is too long, I’ll break it down into parts.
Well, that’s all I have for you today and I hope to have something down soon as the goal is to try and stay consistent on my blog for a year. Please bear with me as I get some things turned around and regain my focus on my true passion and dream.
